I assume so as my MD has me on both, 10 mg escitalopram (lexapro) once daily and 10 mg cyclobenzaprine (flexeril) 3 times daily as needed for Back pain/acute muscle spasm. As a suggestion, I would not try it for the first time if I had to drive or watch children or something important as the mix could make you very sleepy.
it is okay just in low doses, if your lucky. m daughter died mixing these two drugs. i don't know why they don't tell you, I'm sure they know
not really too safe
This is a bad idea. You do not want to take three sedative medicines at once. My advice from looking at the list is for you to take care of your pain. You don't NEED a tranquilizer like Ambien - that is for nights when you have tried to get to sleep on your own and not been able to. You can take the Darvocet and Flexeril together as a pain killer + muscle relaxant combination. Taking too many sedatives at once can make you pass out and even have trouble breathing.
Yes, you can as lorcet is an opiate pain killer and flexeril is a muscle Relaxer. Just be careful because they are both sedative, so don't take too much of either. The mixture can make u extra sleepy. I'm on Soma and Oxycodone. When I first started taking both together I became very sleepy.
I asked my doc the same question today. I'm NOT sure about klonopin, I don't take that drug. My doctor said that taking ambien (zolpidem) together with ativan (lorazepam) is safe, since it functions on different receptors in the brain. So there shouldn't be a synnergic effect.
No, the water pressure is far too great.
Yes, acetaminophen is safe to take with Zocor. Tylenol is fairly safe to take with most other drugs. Just remember not to take more than the amount recommended. It can cause liver damage if you take too much.
You too. Be safe.
Yes, you can take whatever you want. Now, SHOULD you take them together is the question you want the answer to. I am no doctor, but have been on xanax for over 10 years now. During this period I have had to take musle relaxers three times. Twice it was skalaxin and once it was flexeril (of the two, I found flexeril a little more effective). The only danger is that they are both CNS depressents, but as long as you don't take too many of either then they most certainly can be taken together. Source-- Been There, Done That.
Yes, provide you take the correct dosage prescribed by your doctor.
Of course. The point is, one can take any pill w/out food. It just may be harder on your stomach, and start working sooner. I'd check a medical reference online. Really, a person can eat a dead rat without food too. But, who wants to?
Taking Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine) and lithium together can increase the risk of serotonin syndrome, a potentially life-threatening condition that causes symptoms like confusion, hallucination, rapid heartbeat, fever, sweating, shivering, muscle stiffness, tremor, incoordination, stomach cramp, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. It is important to consult with a healthcare professional before taking these medications together to ensure it's safe and appropriate for your specific situation.
No, your body will take in the pen ink and if it takes in too much you will get ink poisoning
