If your body is not affected by it and has already gotten used to it and u have time to sleep that much then right on!
A 12 year old should have 8 to 9 hours of sleep each night. Sleeping to little or to much is unhealthy, especially when you are maturing.

7 is the optimal amount of sleep you can get in one night. Try not to sleep under 5 hours and over 7 hours as it is actually unhealthy to sleep 8 hours a night. Sleeping only 5 hours is less harmful than sleeping 8 hours according to a study done by U of California and the American Cancer Society. So try to get around 7, but don't go too far over, less is better than more (to a point.)

A 14 year old girl should get ad least an 8 hour sleep. If you sleep to little you can get very unhealthy and be kinda grouchy. If you get to much sleep then theres a possibility you can dose off and go into a coma. Keep that 8 hours. Or you can go for 8 hours and 30 minutes. :)
