it is quite simple ... wherever you are you should search about the Makka- Al qaaba location... for example if you are in USA you should pray to the east direction because Makka is in the east of you... if you are in Germany you should pray to the east south.... if you are on a board of ship or plane just pray regardless to the direction... if you are in a place and you do not know the directions .. you can presume the direction of makka from the sun rise and sunset directions ... if it is impossible to do all of this things ... it is not a problem to pray to any direction ... because you pray to Allah not to the direction.
The Qibla is the direction that a Muslim faces, toward Mecca, to pray. It's traditional to face "east", but on our spherical planet, that's not always accurate. In Muslim countries, it's typical that there will be a marker in your hotel room pointing the proper direction; when I was in Malaysia, there was an arrow mounted on the ceiling.
There are websites that allow you to calculate the "great circle" direction of the shortest route to Mecca. From my home in Sacramento, CA, it's actually a few degrees east of north. In most of Asia, you'd turn to the west, or the northwest in Australia.
No, the qibla direction for Muslims is towards the Kaaba in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. This direction varies depending on where you are in the world and is not necessarily towards the sunset.
Don’t know
qibla direction from lahore
If you are referring to which way Muslims pray, they pray towards the Qibla. The Qibla is the Kaabah in the centre of Al Haram Masjid in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This will be a different direction in every place/country.
The Qibla (which the direction of the Muslims during praying) is to face Kaaba when the Muslim is praying.
You should orient your self towards Kaaba, in Mecca (or Mekkah), in Saudi Arabia. The direction is South East. See link below where you write under location Pisa, Italy or your exact address. See also the other link for both praying times and Qibla.
Whatever direction the red arrow points to is North from that you can infer other direction, However QiblaLocator makes finding the Qibla (direction to Mecca) as easy as looking up a map.
I believe you are referring to a Qibla Compass. These are used to determine the direction of the Qibla, where Muslims face when praying.
yes
Muslims determine the direction of Mecca by using a compass or a qibla app on their smartphones. They align themselves towards the Kaaba, a holy structure in the Grand Mosque in Mecca, which serves as the focal point for their prayers. This practice is known as facing the qibla.
The qibla wall is a wall in a mosque which is usually beautifully decorated. It is also called a prayer wall. The wall is used because it faces Mecca, which is the birth place of the Islamics main prophet Mohamed. I feel smart......
Qiblah mean "Direction" The qiblah wall, called mihrab is a wall found in most Mosques that face the same way as Kaaba in Mecca. This direction is called Qiblah. It is the proper direction to face during prayer during salah...it symbolizes the unity in purpose of Muslims worldwide. There are also no animals or pictures on these walls to prevent idol worship.
