There have been many reports that the red hair gene is coming to an end, I find this saddening due to the fact that I actually possess this gene. Although reports have filed that this gene may soon die out, you shouldn't worry about it in this lifetime, this gene may be less common as the years drone on, but it should be a long while before we have to say goodbye to the friendly Strawberry Shortcakes of the world!

If you are out in the sun for too long every/other day, then it is normal for hair to lighten up,supposedly red or blond strikes. If your hair is turning lighter with out the tan from the sun, then it is from aging...a person might be born with blond hair, later becoming red then brown (depending on the color of hair your parents had) and when you get older your hair turns gray. So,thus the reason your hair might be changing color is a natural proses of your growth. -- This is commonly caused by sun damage.
