got to have both to fire
The wires for the plugins are all the same length. you would have to really pull on the wires to get them in the wrong order.
the coil packs are held on to the brackets buy either a seven mm or 8 mm bolts on each side of the coil packs. if you have the twin packs on each side of the motor. now if you have to take the bracket off the you got, i think, 14mm and 15mm bolts down on the face of the heads.
Plugs, wires, coil, distributor, injector, internal engine....
you can try new plugs and wires.....unless the coil is bad or you got a cheap (bad) distributor.
check the a/c compressor. it may be locking up on the vehicle. the clutch on the pulley may be sticking. Mybe it is your Coil that got wet or your plugs. Get a new coil.
The coil for that cylinder is probably bad. replace it. If you have a coil pack, they run around 60 dollars and are easy to replace. I recommend replacing the sparkplug wires also when replacing the coil pack I have had a bad coil pack fry my wires. Go with motorcraft spark plugs also. The engine was designed for them and some of the other plugs run too hot
remove the two screws holding the cover located at the top of the engine. the cover is a diffent color than the rest of the top.AnswerThose covers are called coil packs. They are installed with 2 Phillips screws. You will need a deep socket or a 5 inch extension to reach the recessed spark plugs. AnswerYou should use the deep socket instead of extensions because i almost got the socket trapped down there and wouldn't be able to get it out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
if you mean packs, yes. they got their genes from wolves that roam in packs
According to the information I could find : ( 3 - 1 ) ( 2 - 4 ) passenger side ( exhaust ) ------------------------------------------------------- ( 4 - 2 ) ( 1 - 3 ) spark plug wires cross over top of engine to drivers side ( intake ) front of engine
google this ...mazda-autobestanswer. details there about the code 1506
there is not one, all new cars got away from distributer cap several years ago, now you have coil packs controled by camshaft and crankshaft sensors to provide electronic firing of what the distributor used to do.
