Oil pan.
a low oil sensor
Normally you should be able to crawl under a the car and look around until you familiarize your surroundings. If you find the Oil Pan then..... you find the oil plug. For the QX4, You are going to have to take the plastic cover off the underside of the SUV in order to expose the oil pan. Hope this helps!
Between the engine oil pan and the transmission oil pan. It is cast aluminum.
It is at the bottom of the oil pan.
Inside the oil pan mounted on the engine block.
what fuse for the trunk release in a 97 pontiac bonneville
You have to jack the car up and rest it on jackstands. Drain the oil by reoving the drain plug (the big bolt on the oil pan). Remove the crossmember underneath the oil pan by removing the bolts on both ends. Then remove the bolts holding the oil pan onto the block and remove the pan. Take note of the 2 bolts that are longer than the rest, these go where the support brackets for the transmission cooler lines are. This is I removed the pan on a 97 Nissan Pickup with the 2.4 liter engine.
If there is sensor with wires going to it sticking out of the front of the pan, it has the level sensor.
Yes, But the engine will have to be raised up and the front Axel housing MUST be removed to allow the oil pan to come out.
