C++ is one of the most flexible programming-languages there is. So, my first answer would be 'Yes'. However the question is, if C++ is the most suited language for the software that you want to make. There may be a alternative, easier language, in wich you can develop your software. Jahewi :-)

∙ 10y agoC++ is a general purpose, generic programming language that compiles to machine code. Thus it performs extremely well on a wide variety of hardware, and is every bit as efficient as its predecessor, C, from which it evolved. C++ is best described as a mid-level language because, while it retains a lot of the low-level procedural functionality of C, it introduces a greater degree of high-level abtraction and structure through object-oriented programming principals. Thus it is ideally suited to modelling highly-complex data structures much more easily than with C alone. It is also backwardly compatible with C, thus it can make use of the vast library of C functions available.

It can be used for whatever you want to use it for. It may not be the best programming language to use for a given application, but that doesn't stop you using it for that application.

∙ 7y agoIt is good in the sense that it is much easier to use than either assembly or C for the vast majority of coding. There are still some rare cases where C and assembly excel, so it doesn't completely replace them, however with each new C++ standard there is less need for anything lower than C++.

The software already have all the buttons and text bars. The only thing is to provide the working to them. So you can code in C++ or in any other language to provide working. Though you should know about the classes the buttons belong and other stuff about that software to work seamlessly.
