No, it's isn't, and it could be a very ill-advised thing to do, given the construction of the Lorcin pistols, which uses cast zinc.
NEVERY ATTEMPT TO FIRE ANY AMMUNITION NOT SPECIFICALLY MADE FOR YOUR FIREARM!!!!!!!!!!! Have a gunsmith check it out.
Depends entirely on the pistol. I have a single shot muzzle loading pistol that 2 shots a minute would be good. A fully automatic machine pistol can fire more than 100 rounds per minute. You need to specify WHICH pistol, as there is no one answer.
As fast as the firer is able to pull the trigger. They are semi-auto only.
Pistol of Fire was created in 2005.
Like all "Ring of Fire" guns (Lorcin, Raven, Jennings, Bryco, Jiminez), they're designed to be as cheap as possible. Thus, they are crudely made from cheap materials. If you have one, and some component breaks, it's better just to scrap it, because gunsmithing would typically cost more than the pistol is worth.
Post 1972 detective specials are rated for 3,000 rounds of +p ammunition but Colt recommends that after 3,000 rounds they be sent back to Colt for inspection.
yes you can you fire .22 rounds out of a No.8 rifle.
No. A starter pistol does not use bullets. It uses blank rounds, which explode and make the noise, just like a regular gun, but no projectile comes out.
The original Colt 45 (1873) was a single action pistol with a revolving chamber that held 6 rounds. Single action meant that the hammer had to be cocked before pulling the trigger or, in other words, the trigger simply released the hammer, it did not arm it as well, as in the case of a double action pistol. This is why you would often see the cowboy (Roy Rogers, for instance) madly fanning the hammer of his Colt with the palm of his hand while holding the trigger with the other, to effect rapid fire of several rounds. It does not, however, explain how they could fire so many shots without reloading.
Generally speaking, no. .38 auto and 9mm para are different rounds. With only a few exceptions, you should never fire any ammo in a gun other than what the gun is designed to fire.
Any unlocked breech, straight blowback pistol - particularly the cheaply made, small calibre models from Raven/Lorcin/Bryco/Jiminez Arms/Davis/any of these other "ring of fire" companies I forgot to add in here.
A machine gun is a firearm that with one pull of the trigger will feed and fire 2 or more rounds in succession. Most machine guns are belt fed and fire high powered rifle ammunition. Similar weapons include Assault Rifles and Sub-machine Guns which fire intermediate and pistol caliber rounds. An example of a machine gun would be a Browning M1919 or Browning M2.
