Carefully pull the bottom compartment away from the large engine cover. Remove the small, flat heat duct that sits on top of the large cover, remember orientation, two upright studs keep it in place during assembly. Remove two bolts under the passenger side dash, using the same size socket as the previous cover removal. Carefully pull the passenger lower dash to un-fasten it, removing it completely from the dash. Unhitch four total clips on the engine cover, two on the floor and two up against the firewall. Carefully rock the engine cover, pulling it backward. At this point, it seems that removal of the passenger seat would be required to completely remove the engine cover from inside the van -- otherwise, if you are careful, you can maneuver the engine cover different ways depending on which parts of the engine you must work on. If you must drive with the engine cover out of position or removed, wear suitable hearing protection as the engine is extremely loud! Also, if driving with the cover out of place or removed, be careful of possible objects that may be thrown up from the road (pebbles, sand, gravel, stones, loose parts, etc.
