With a regional accreditation you can be assured the coursework and degree you complete will be recognized by all other colleges and universities as well as employers. Below I have listed the six regional accrediting agencies and their geographical areas of responsibility. I am disclosing the below so you do not become a victim of educational scams, institutions that are nothing more than diploma mills, or that do not have the best accreditation, and are eager to take your money for a degree that is worthless. · Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities - Postsecondary institutions (colleges and universities) in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Washington.

Yes, the University of Georgia has the preferred regional accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and is a College Board member. Therefore, the coursework and degree one completes through this institution of higher learning will be recognized by all other colleges and universities as well as employers.

The University is nationally accredited by both A.B.H.E and T.R.A.C.S. Both accrediting agencies are Christian agencies recognized by the United States Department of Education. This allows the University to receive financial aid for the Federal Government. However, attending a college with regional accreditation will give you more opportunities when it comes to attending Graduate school or applying for certain jobs. In the state of Georgia colleges that are regionally accredited are accredited by S.A.C.S. Beulah Heights University is not regionally accredited has not started the 4 year application process to becoming regionally accredited by S.A.C.S.. If attend Beulah you will be extremely limited
