They Are both as good as each other Amd is slightly older the core duo. It all comes down to Personal Preference i prefer Core duo 2
AMD is cheaper than Intel ...
No doubt that amd turion x2 is better than athlon x2. So, I would suggest you to go for turion. But I want to know if core 2 duo is better than the turion x2. Any suggestions.
Turion. The sempron is, i believe single core and that for me counts it right out. advantages of the LE sempy are its low energy useage- ideal for a back up PC or other unit that's left on 24/7, other than that go for the Turion. I take it this is for a laptop choice?
Depends on what their Clock Speed Is, Clock Speed Is measured in GHz, the higher the number the better the processor. For Instance an Intel Core 2 Duo could have a clock speed of 2.00 GHz and that would be better than a AMD Turion Clock speed of 1.73 GHz.
depends what its in the turion is a mobile processor so if ur gettin a laptop get the turion, if ur gettin a desktop get the athlon
I think i3 is better processor than e6700 because i3 is advance technolgy processor
depends on the core duo, but most core duo's are better than the older dual core
hey... centrino 2 is actually core 2 duo processor manufactured by Intel that is much expensive than amd turion x2 64 ultra dual core mobile processor i currently have the "amd" and m really satisfied by its performance people say it gets heated up but i use my laptop for 24hrs+ n i don't find any heating up issue... as compared to Intel theres not much difference in the performance
yes
Yes it is better as it provides much faster speeds than a normal one.
Intel Core i5 is a fast, responsive processor. It is not as good as Core i7, but better than Celtron, Core 2 Duo, and Core i3.
The question you're asking, unfortunately, is not worded correctly. An Intel processor is a family of processor, where a quad-core processor is a type of processor. The Intel family includes many types of quad-core processors. However, to try and disambiguate what you're asking, an Intel core processor will be good, no matter what type it is. An Intel quad-core processor - for example, the Intel i7 - will perform fantastically well. The other main type of processor manufacturer - AMD - also have quad-core processors. However, a lot of it is down to opinion and machine build as to whether Intel is better than AMD, but personally, I believe Intel will out-perform and out-last an AMD processor.
