I was looking at one of the Ford websites and for a 1995 and 1996 Ford
Escort , with the 1.9 liter four cylinder engine it shows the same part number
( Motorcraft DG-435 ) for the coil
* so in short , I would say the answer is ( YES )
No
With what?
Yes it is.
no not really
Yes but not that intake manifold its different for the escort
No.
What coil goes to what cylinder
Not sure what a timing coil is. More info please.
if the vehicle has a 1.9 eng. Coil is located on end of engine (drivers side)
One could make your own tower or cut one out of a junk car, otherwise no there not really interchangeable.
follow your spark plug wires from the engine and they will lead directly to the coil pack. it is what they plug into
First thing is to make sure you have fire (spark) at the spark plugs. If not change the ignition coil.
