Absolutely, Obama is responsible for driving the US economy into the tank. He is a profligate spender who likes big government and is pleased to see cradle to grave government controls. He is a statist and socialist who seeks a global government for the entire world.
Another opinion: President Obama has contributed about 25% of the national debt so far - and a lot of that comes from winding down the two wars Bush started. Cradle to grave government controls and global government sound good to me - much better than corporate government, which is the alternative.

Why would a person want to be President of the US?
That is a good question. Though there is a great deal of danger involved with occupying the Presidency, the benefits seem to surpass the negatives. As President, you are leader of the free world, commander in chief of the strongest military ever known to man, and representative of the world's best free market economy. Will you get assassinated? Maybe. But, the paycheck is fat, around $500,000 including the luxury expense account. The house is pretty nice, and you will forever be embedded in history.
