Since Buddhists teach that eventually (through a series of reincarnations) all of mankind will become enlightened and taken in to the nothingness of Nirvana, at some point there wont be anybody left on Earth...

Whether that means the world continues or not is up for debate.

But no, there is no "end of the world" myth like you find in many other religions
