What can be done to you in Florida if you are the cosigner on a vehicle that is up for repossession but your husband is in possession of the vehicle and they cannot find it?

They will come to you for the money if they can't find him. It will be on your credit as a repo as well. As a co-signer, you sign that you will take over payments if the signer fails to make the payments.

If the deed of the house is in your husbands and your name and you are paying the original owners mortgage what are your legal rights to the home?

Can the new wife be responsible for paying alimony to her husband's ex-wife?

No, you would not be responsible for your husband's alimony payments to his ex-wife if he can't pay. Your income is not considered a factor in payments. Depending on the agreement, your husband may modify the alimony payments in court if he can show proof he is unable to pay.

Your husband and you are separated he and your son n law are on a title your son n law wants you to take back possession since payments are not being made how do you do that without getting into troub?

My dad cosigned for my husband 2 yrs ago on an auto loan Husband abandoned family and is not making payments as his wife can I take possession of the vehicle so my dads credit is not ruined and i pay?

No, but your father can, and then he can turn the vehicle over to you for you to register. If your father is not able to take possession of the vehicle, it would be best for him to contact the lender and provide any location information of the vehicle. Notify the lender that in the event it is repossessed that he has the desire to redeem it, but you will likely need to bring the balance current.

Is husband responsible for child support payments if his wife remarrys?

Generally, yes, the child is still his child. The support payments would likely stop if the new husband adopts the child, but he can't do that unless you agree to it.

Can a wife in Arizona own and keep a gun in the house with her husband who is a felon?

NO, not unless she wishes to risk the arrest of her husband! A felon cannot be in "possession" of a firearm. 'Possession,' in the law, means ANYWHERE where he has access to it, or can exercise control over it. Having a firearm in the residence or in the car, or for that matter ANYWHERE he may be, is known as "concurrent possession," and is prohibited.
