How did the US win the battle of guadalcanal?

Why the Americans were able to win the war The Japanese had already pretty much destroyed the U.S Navy in the region of Hawaii (Pearl Harbour), but the ships werent entirely ruined. The Americans could rebuild their fleet but it would take some time for it to happen. The U.S American Navy was located at Hawaii which means that the water was shallow that the ships did not fully sink. The Americans weren't being attacked at the time before that so they had alot of time and money. What the Japanese did was Bring in America to the war which was a really big mistake. Estimates are that between 750,000 and 1,000,000 would have died in an all out invasion so for the americans it was a good thing to save lifes for the Americans

How did most Americans at the time feel about the Treaty of Versailles?

Many Americans opposed the treaty, which they believed was unjust and imperfect. The main debate was over the League of Nations-the only of Wilson's Fourteen Points contained in the treaty.

What damage did the us military inflict on the Japanese?

The US military inflicted a lot of damage on the Japanese. The Imperial Navy lost 5 mini-submarines, 29 airplanes, and all the pilots and crewmen that were in those. The Japanese made a terrible mistake when they bombed Pearl Harbour. They brought America officially into the war. The price paid by the Japanese was terrible (with massive loss of life on both sides), culminating in the dropping of two atomic bombs by the Americans on Japanese. There is much debate, even today, on the use of the two bombs, but it did stop the war and prevented further loss of American and their Allies lives.

Was the use of the Atom Bomb in Hiroshima during World War 2 a terrorist act?

The role of the bombings in Japan's surrender and the U.S.'s ethical justification for them remains the subject of scholarly and popular debate. The dropping of the bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki caused the Japanese to surrender. if they had not been dropped an invasion of the Japanese homeland would have been necessary to defeat the Japanese. That would have resulted in a number of deaths estimated for allies between 100,000 and 1,000,000 and up to 10,000,000 for the Japanese. Both the atomic bombings resulted in less than 250,000 deaths. How many lives were saved by Trumans decision are unknowable. Now what would you say if Truman, instead of ending the war as quickly as possible, let it go on for several months longer, killing hundreds of thousands of Americans and millions of Japanese, when he had the chance to end it in two quick blows.

Is the Holocaust a diplomacy or debate?

Yes and yes. The holocaust is both. Take into context diplomacy's definition and debate's definition. Diplomacy is, for lack of better words, peacefully dealing people. Debate is, well, just what it says. So, with the holocaust, it was war and with this famous quote, "All war represents a failure of diplomacy.", it shows that yes, diplomacy did have and idle effect in the holocaust, but you can do that research. I'm not here to hold your hand, and debate... I'm shocked that your so unknowledgable that you cannot fit debate into the context of the holocaust. Here's two "fun" facts about Hilter, well one, his mother seriously considered abortion but, her doctor talked her out of it and, two, he came out during the war and the hate to walk his dog. So... go research because, your not gonna get any where having others research for you. P.S. Just in case you were wondering, yes, I am extremely rude about research because, I've spent the past 4 and a half months trying to answer debate and diplomacy of capital punishment. Do NOT consider telling me that that's easy, its not when you teacher is supposed to kinda guide you and you don't know what to do. I went to the library for 3 hours at a time trying to find info.
