It depends on you, the job you choose (or are assigned to) and what you make of it. There are few jobs in the Navy today that aren't challenging, even clerical or support jobs.
Having said that, it would be a lie to say that front line combat positions aren't as difficult as support jobs, but not everyone is cut out for such duty. Hours are long, training is continuous and difficult, and conditions can be less than hospitable. But the rewards are worth it, and why sailors who get into those rates in the first place stay in them for so long.
My point is, everyone has their own different view of what is challenging, but that's the great thing about the Navy; you have many rates to choose from depending on your own career tastes, and what you yourself find challenging and rewarding.
it's easy after few days because you will see yourself changing into a kinkong i ask if the navy was hard now let me ask this ..is the bootcamp hard what is it like
It wasn't so much the geographical features that made them hard to defend; the U.S. had a much better Navy than the Japanese, which made it easy for them to attack the Japanese positions on land with artillery shells from their cannons and machine guns.
Yes, I'm a female, I enlisted about a week ago and leave for boto camp in 5 weeks. Check out NAVY.com for more information on women in the U.S Navy
Then Japan would have taken out the United States navy basically. Historically, the most powerful countries are the ones with the most powerful navy. This would make it hard to even fight in the war outside of the US.
The coastlines of the South stretched for several thousand miles. The blockading efforts of the Union navy would be hard pressed to execute the best type of blockades. To do so, the US Navy deployed their ships into four squadrons to cover the vast area that the South presented. From the coastline of Texas to Florida and northwards to Virginia.
Yes - the U.S. Navy is considered the largest Navy in the world.
Navy boot camp is quite hard and results in many dropouts. It is purposely designed to be difficult to weed out those who will not perform well at their duties.

Yes. depending on which country that is.
If you mean is joining the US Navy hard then not really. It is just as hard as joining any other military branch. As long as you are physically and mentally healthy you should be fine. No criminal record and no drugs in system.
No, the health qualifications for the Navy are just as hard as the Air Force. If it was bad enough to get a discharge, none of the branches will take you.
Yes. The United States Navy Seals uses BUD/s training to help them stay invisible, uses stealth and silence attack. BUD/s is unbelivable hard to complete but the United States Navy Seals have done it completely.
yes I hate to differentiate from the above given answer, but visible tattoos are a big no no in all branches of the military. The Navy MIGHT go a little less hard on you, but I doubt it.
