The number one piston is always at the front side of the motor where the belts are. If it is a 4 cylinder. If it is a 6 cylinder its is always the 1st cylinder on the left side of the motor at the front where the belts are. Justin

i believe it's a motor no. not vin. it should be on a machined pad on the block in front of the left cylinder head. ( this is from standing in front of the eng. looking at it)
Facing the engine from the front, it's the first one on your right, the firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2. (clockwise rotation) Standing in front of the car facing the motor, number one is the front plug on the right (drivers side). You will also find the cylinder number stamped on the intake manifold near each cylinder and the firing order will be stamped in the front center of the intake manifold.
