Normally the overdrive is allowed so you will not see the light
If you have shut off the overdrive the O/D OFF light will be lit up in your dash

The fuel pump inertia ( shut off ) switch is in the right front passenger footwell , in the right hand corner by the kick panel . If the switch is " tripped " , the fuel reset light is supposed to light up in your gauge cluster
I own a ford explorer. Just play with the dimmer "wheel" until it turns off (with doors closed). If that doesn't work, turn the vehicle on then off a couple times. That does it for mine
