How do you remove dash to replace signal flasher on a 2002 Chevy Impala?
If you are replacing the signal flasher with a new one you can gently break the old flasher out. The plastic tabs that hold it in place break fairly easy. Once you have the flasher out you can unplug the electrical connection, plug it back into the new one and snap the new assembly back into the dash.

The one on the passenger side is for the hazard lights on the 1993 Lumina Euro. The other flasher is located on the drivers side underneath the dash. Once you get the panel off on the underside of the driver's side it will be on the right hand side (toward the center but before the shifter), it's cradled in a holster that was a pain for me to get out of. Good luck. Shouldn't take too long to do.

It's one of three things. The bulbs are burnt, the fuse is burnt or the flasher is toast. You can take the flasher from the hazard lights and put it in place of the turn signal one for now. That will either make them work or you know it's one of the other things.

There is a short in the wires in the turn signal circuit. The combination switch in the steering column is a good place to check. Do the hazard lights still flash?

If I remember right the turn signal flasher is under the dash above the ashtray. Only way to get to it is reaching it from the passenger side after you remove any covers that are there (there might not be any). Reach over the ashtray and feel for the flasher. It is held in place with a clip. Pull it from the clip and bring it down.
