The Bible reveals a list of events for which God's servants are to watch that lead up to "Judgment Day" [the Last Great Day of God's plan of Salvation] -- which doesn't occur until AFTER JESUS' THOUSAND YEAR RULE ON THE EARTH!

"This is the First Resurrection [of God's saints at Christ's return]. (The rest of the dead did not come back to life {resurrect from their graves} until the thousand years had ended.) Blessed and Holy are those who share in the First Resurrection. For them the Second Death [on Judgment Day] holds no power, but they will be Priests of God [the Father] and of Christ and will reign with Him a thousand years." (Rev.20:5-6 NLT New Living Translation)

Prophetically speaking [from the Bible's perspective] Jesus reveals TWO major global events to occur before He, Himself, returns: [the 3 1/2 year Great Tribulation, and the global darkening of the sun and moon and other "heavenly signs" that will cut the Great Tribulation short -- see Seals 5 & 6 in Revelation chapter 6].

Seal 7 symbolizes the "DAY" of Jesus' return: [see Seal 7, the Day of the LORD, which is the theme of the book of Revelation, symbolically composed of Seven "wind-borne" Trumpet plagues - [chapters 8 thru 11]; and the Seven "final" Vial plagues of God's wrath "poured out on the earth" - [chapter 16].

Jesus' return is chronologically prophesied in chapter 19... with His thousand year rule on earth and Judgment Day to occur at the end of that thousand years [chapter 20].

And even the occasion of the Last Great Day of God's plan; Day of Judgment... the FIRE of which ultimately engulfs the whole world; cleansing and purifying it from all sin and impurities... results in a "re-created" New Heaven and New Earth -- not the world's end [see chapter 21].

Jesus assures His servants that THE WORLD IS NOT GOING TO END! He tells His people that man's tendency in the Tribulation [no doubt the onset of World War III] will be to KILL OFF EVERY LAST LIFE FORM ON THE PLANET... and that THE WORLD WOULD END!

"For that will be a time of greater horror[Great Tribulation - KJV] than anything the world has ever seen or will ever see again. In fact, unless that time of calamity is shortened, THE ENTIRE HUMAN RACE WILL BE DESTROYED. But IT WILL BE SHORTENED for THE SAKE OF GOD'S CHOSEN ONES." (Matt.24:21-22 NLT)

Contrary to popular religious belief... Jesus Christ and His written Word assure His servants [and mankind] that "the world is never going to end."

"...the LORD will save the people of Israel with Eternal Salvation. They will never again be humiliated and disgraced throughout Everlasting Ages. For the LORD is God, and He created the heavens and earth and put everything in place. He MADE THE WORLD TO BE LIVED IN, not to be a place of empty chaos..." (Isa.45:17-18 NLT)

"Will the world end tomorrow?" The Bible says, 'No.'

There is coming a time when we will think it will; and Satan-worshiping, Satan-guided man will try to bring its end about. But, no... God won't allow it.

"...unless the LORD SHORTENS THAT TIME OF CALAMITY, the entire human race will be destroyed. But for the sake of His Chosen ones HE HAS SHORTENED THOSE DAYS [see Seal 6, Rev.6 & Matt.24:29]." (Mark 13:20 NLT)

The world (according to the Bible) will NOT end on May 21, 2011, or any other self-proclaimed "Judgement Day." Mark 13:32 states word for word that no man knows the day or the hour of Judgement, not even Jesus. Only God the Father knows this, so with this in mind it is impossible for the world to end with our knowing in advance. It will just happen, without warning.

According to Mark's Gospel, you shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles. The brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death. Mark's Gospel says that Jesus predicted the end of the world within the lifetimes of his disciples. As the end did not come when Jesus said it would come, we can not be sure when the world will end or what the signs will be. Of course, the earth will cease to be a habitable planet in a few billion years, as the sun cools, but this will not be tomorrow or even within the time of the human race as we know it.
