original answer:

most likely no because fire red and leaf green were the two original games they didn't include Pokemon yellow so no

ldd123's addition:

Actually, the original Red and Blue versions were the European release of Japan's Red, Blue and Green versions released two and a half years earlier. Yellow was a special edition in effect replacing Green here in the West, but also released in Japan. Fire Red and Leaf Green were just updated remakes, probably to increase profit and bridge the gap between games. Gold and Silver have now been remade as Heart Gold and Soul Silver for the DS and, as Platinum is to Diamond and Pearl, there is always the chance that Crystal may also be given a makeover and a re-release.

YES THERE IS ITS POKEMON COLOR CRYSTAL IT IS FOR ds and its released date is 2011

or 2012 they did not make a trailer yet but its real. if you don't believe go to sembii.net they have news for it on April 3 2010 but they say its really and the new Pokemon zorau and zoraukke are in it

godzylan 51's edition:Actually they did make a Pokemon yellow remake. It's called Pokemon pikachu yellow.

And they are probably making Pokemon mind crystal because heart gold soul silver and mind crystal.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

First of all.....is serebii.net d u m b a s s. Second, there is no and i think it not will be a remake of Pokemon crystal (first answer) and less of Pokemon yellow. This because yellow and crystal didn't provide something really new or interesting to the previous versions (green, blue, red, gold, silver) more than a few cosmetic changes, so making a remake of this games is a really dumb idea.

If they ever make a remake of yellow or blue they'll make a remake of crystal but don't count on it.

PS. that wasn't crystal coming out in 2011 that was Pokemon black and white

How many Pokemon are there in Diamond and Pearl and Platinum?

I can safely say that from Pokemon generations I to IIII, there are 34; 5 from red/blue/yellow/green (articuno zapdos moltres mewtwo and mew) 6 from gold/silver/crystal (suicine raikou entei lugia ho-oh and celebi) and 10 from emerald/ruby/sapphire (Groudon, Kyogre Rayquaza, Regice, Registeel, Regirock, Latios, Latias, Deoxys and Jirachi) Palkia, Dialga, Shaymin, Darkrai, Mesprit, Uxie, Azelf, Cresselia, Giratina, Rotom, Regigigas,Manpahy, Phione and Arceus are 13 from Diamond/Pearl that are legendary. * improvement: technically, there are only 33 legendaries in all of Pokemon because Arceus isn't counted on the national pokedex

Can you switch from Pokemon Yellow to Pokemon Pearl?

Sadly you can not. You can transfer Pokemon from red, blue, or yellow version up to crystal, but crystal, gold, and silver version are not compatible with ruby, Sapphire, or emerald and onwards. It is due to a new way of saving the data that makes up a Pokemon in the newer generations.
