well almost every cold air intake is different, but it should be pretty easy...unless you bought it off of eBay. parts bought off of eBay rarely fit and are hardly ever the real thing. your best bet is to contact the company who made the intake and get an instructions sheet.

rip the plastic airbox out as quick as possible and throw it away and then just follow the instructions your kit came with.
Spider is convertible. Also depending on model it might have different compression ratio, air intake manifold and interior.

Mitsubishi Eclipse's don't have MAP sensors that come stock with the car. Mitsubishi uses MAF( Mass air flow sensors) not Mass air pressure and Intake Air Temps also referred to as speed density.
three are on the front valve cover the other three are under the intake manifold
if you follow the air intake box it attaches to it and its usually in the front part of the engine.
K&N or AEM will work just fine.
On the Non-Turbo it is on the left side of the Throtle body. Turbo model I have no clue.
Tp stands for throttle positioning the tps is located on your throttle body which you can find by following the air intake hose.
Theres a screw on the Throttle body at the end of the intake manifold. turn it with a screw driver left or right.
