yes look at the belt system. If it is the the older style v-belt drive with a standard rotation water pump the inlet and outlets are on the passenger side of the radiator. If you have a serpentine belt drive like the 80s-90s EFI 5.0, it will be a reverse rotation pump and the outlets and inlets on the driver and pass. side of the radiator. In short if it is an eirly 302 that has not been tuched it is the same.If your car has had a later 302 engine in it then there will be a difference and you have to Google mustang cross over tube
