The easiest way would be to get an entire wiring harness/ECU from the 1994 and put it into the 1988 with the motor. This will eliminate any splicing or cutting you may need to do otherwise.

It really depends on which wiring harness. If you are asking about the whole cars wiring I would seriously take it to a shop. Other harnesses may be easy, like the radio harness, and door switch harnesses are the easy ones.
