29s here, yes there a release button and it is located on the shifter housing directly across from the traction control button (tcs). pop the cover up with a smell flat head screwdriver and then stick that screwdriver down into that opening and press it down. that will disingauge the neutral safety switch so you should be able to shift. if problem persists check trans fluid and linkage located below the intake hose.
If you have an owner's manual, it tells you how to in there:1. Turn key to II position.2. Click select/reset button until the oil life is displayed on the digital screen.3. Press and hold select/reset button for 10 seconds until the digital display starts to blink, then release button.4. Press button again - holding for 5 seconds until the digital display resets to "OIL LIFE 100%"

I found this out through trial and error. Hold the "clock" button down until it starts blinking. Use the "Tune Seek Track" button up for hours, down for minutes to set the clock. Hit the "clock" button again to save the setting.

ON my 2000 S10 4.3L 6 cylinder. Right lower corner of Radio/Casset. Push "HR" button to change hour and "Min" button to change minutes. Just keep button pressed until time starts changing. In owners manual. John Raymond

Butter Button
Hold down the attack button until your slinger starts flashing. Release it to attack in all directions
Push and hold the Source button until the radio turns off. Release the button, then press and hold it again until the clock starts flashing and you can set the time with the up down left and right buttons
With the ignition off, press and hold in the reset button for the trip odometer, then turn the ignition on. Hold the trip odometer reset button until the service reminder indicator starts flashing (about 10 seconds). Release the reset button for the trip odometer within 4 seconds.
