How does the speed of NetZero DSL broadband compare to Roadrunner DSL broadband?
NetZero is not even close to Road Runner, or any cable modem, but the price is way, way, cheaper. If you don't need top of the line speed, & NetZero DSL is available, get it. It is very hard to find.

Yes Qwest is a great provider for DSL. I used to use Qwest many years back for DSL until I upgraded to broadband and I never had any problems with them. Qwest is good but expensive

Most routers will be compatible with your DSL Modem. I've used LINKSYS for years without any problems.

I dont think so. Some providers only allow the customer to use the provider's modem; others allow the customer to use any DSL modem, as long as it's compatible with the provider's DSL network.
