NO, and in fact what you are proposing is extremely dangerous !
The only fix for this is a new part fitted by a competent professional.
Rebuild the cylinders on that caliper.
Seal in brake caliper is leaking and needs replacement Flexible brake line to the caliper is leaking and needs replacement
Could be, Rotted brake lines, Leaky caliper(s), Leaky master cylinder,
Failed caliper, wheel cylinder, hose, line, Vehicle is unsafe to drive.
Expanding the calipers (when you put in new brake pads) can cause the master cylinder reservoir to overflow. Before attempting to perform repairs, make certain it isn't simply leaking out of the master cylinder reservoir. HOWEVER... If it's leaking at the left front wheel, you'll probably need to replace the caliper. Sometimes a hydraulic cylinder, such as the caliper cylinder, can become pitted and when the rubber seal of the piston crosses the pitted surface it can leak brake fluid. Simple answer, find out where it's leaking, it may be nothing, it may be something to repair.
could be the cylinder on the brake caliper is locked up could be the cylinder on the brake caliper is locked up
if its on a car or truck (brake caliper) it is how the emergency brake works, usually on the rear, it has a cable that turns the cylinder inside the caliper
Could either be a bad brake wheel cylinder (caliper) or a bad CV joint axle seal
No
Master cylinder or drum brake (hydraulic slave) wheel cylinder or disc brake caliper cylinder? drum brake shoes rear
It all depends on what part is leaking what fluid. Brake cylinder would leak brake fluid. Axle seal would leak gear oil.
Bad master cylinder or leaking line/caliper/cylinder
