The nasal bone is a minimal contributor to the bony nasal septum. The anterior part of the nasal septum is cartilage. The bones that form the septum are:the perpendicular plate of the ethmoid bone, the vomer, the sphenoidal rostrum, the crest of the nasal bones, the frontal spine, and the median crest formed by the apposition of the maxillary and palatine bones. The Vomer

Pluto comes inside Neptune's orbit for part of its rotation. Pluto is no longer considered a planet though (it is considered a dwarf planet). None of the current eight planets in our solar system have orbits that cross each other.

The 'Common Cold' is transmitted by sneezing, coughing, etc.. For example.. Someone sneezes in a lift, viruses and sprayed out at an estimated speed of 40mph. Each virus has to find another target to attack before they are destroyed. The viruses travel through the nasal passage. The lining inside the nasal passage destroys most of the particles but one or two may escape. The single virus that may have escaped, has to trick the body in several different ways. The final and most important trick the virus has to achieve, is to trick the cell wall by pretending it is protein or a good particle. The cell wall lets the virus through, then the virus creates hundreds more virus particles creating influenza B. There are only two cells in which can cure the virus upon thousands in the body. The body has to find those two cells in order to destroy the virus particles. Hope that helps.. x
The nasal conchae are three pairs of bony projections in the nasal cavity. They are generally curved inferomedially with each roofing a groove or meatus. It helps to filter, heat and moisten inhaled air and minimize heat and moisture loss from the body during exhalation.

you have three turbinates in each side of your nose. They are like fingers. Their job is to moisten the air, and add some resistance to your nasal breathing. Coblation involves puncturing the lower of these with a coblater wand (small pointed instrument) it then destroys some of the tissue inside the turbinate creating a pocket that eventually collapses resulting in effectively a smaller turbinate. This means when you have allergies, cold, or what have you, they won't swell up as much reducing the likelyhood of having a stopped up nose. Most people think when their nose is stuffy it is due to it being full of junk. Actually, it is the turbinate swelling up and restricting the nasal passage which gives you that stopped up feeling.
cartilage The nasal bones make up the bridge of your nose. There are two small oblong bones, varying in size and form in different individuals; they are placed side by side at the middle and upper part of the face, and form, by their junction, "the bridge" of the nose.
"itis" refers to inflammation"sinus" is of course your sinuses.Inflamation can be helped with diphenhydramine "benadryl"or using a nasal spray such as nasal salineor Neo-Synephrine nasal spray. There is no "cure" it is a natural body response tocolds, allergies, etc... so each episode can be helped, however everyone will always be at risk.
