Is there any headaches with swapping a 1977 fuel injected 2 lt into a 1972 transporter non-fuel injected 1700 cc bus?
The mount points are the same on the 1700 and the 2000, so
that's not a worry. The only "headache" I can think of is you need
the whole donor Bus, not just the engine--you'll have to swap the
gas tank, for one thing no one would have thought of, because fuel
injected vehicles return fuel to the tank.
