I have had FM for 15 years now. There is no cure. However, myself and many others have had some relief from applying Emu oil to the painful areas. I know it sounds strange but I have seen it work for FM and many other painful conditions. The pure Emu oil works best. .

Others on this question have mentioned the following:

"See a therapist who practices Acupuncture and Neurostructural Therapy (NST or Bowen Therapy)." It was also stated that 80% of FM sufferers are lacking Vitamin D.

Of course, the prime source of Vitamin D is the sun. So, I'd suggest getting some more good, old-fashioned fresh air and sunshine might do wonders

I am a type 1 diabetic with fibromialgia, Arthritis, bursitis, 2 herniated disks and a pinched sciatic nerve and most recently over the last 7 months, a pain that radiates from my shoulder down the inner part of my arm with weakness in both arms. My Endocrinologist recently informed me that my vitamin D levels were Very off my number being 18 when the cut off is 40! I was prescribed 2,000 units of vitamin D a day. I have now done extensive research on the effects of vitamin D levels that are too low and found out that this causes a mirage of VERY serious health conditions Fibro is only one of them. I suggest that you have your vitamin D levels checked right away, you may need supplements. I have read that when people begin to replace the Vitamin D back into their bodies with supplementation that the results are dramatic in regards to pain relief ,I am hoping that this is the case for me as well as it might be for you. Something to definitely look into............

What is the most effective pain relief for fibromyalgia with osteoporosis?

Although osteoporosis does not typically cause pain as a symptom, both osteoporosis and fibromyalgia are individualized diseases with no cookbook approach to treatment or pain relief. What works well for one patient will not work on another patient. Rheumatologists sometimes work with fibromyalgia patients, and pain management specialists can be helpful for these patients too. Alternative treatments such as massage and acupuncture have also proven to be helpful to some patients.
