Is there any way to change a girl's mind on just being friends?

The best thing to do in this common situation is to tell her your feelings right off the bat. If the person waits and doesn't say anything then she might not know how he feels and will go on dating other guys without a clue of how that person feels and all that person will feel is anger and frustration. Tell her that you have been having more than just friendship feelings for her and you wanted to know how she feels. She is your best friend, right? But you have to LISTEN to exactly what she says in her response not what you think you want to hear. she might be shocked to hear this and not know how to answer or she might have the same feeling as you but has been too scared to say anything. Ask her out on a "date". Dinner, movies, bars, or whatever you guys like to do. She will see you in a different light if she now knows that you guys aren't just "hanging out". More than likely, she will want to take things slow in the beginning because she is trying to put you in a different mindet. The easy way to think of it is, if you guys are best friends then we can just jump right into it because we already know each other. That is a misconception. YOu have to play it cool and let her decide what she wants to do (as far as moving forward in a relationship). She will let you know if she wants to be with you or not. Whether she says it or its by actions.

Be honest and ask her. The best marriages and relationships a person can have is when their romantic partner is also their best friend. If you can obtain this, then you are truly fortunate. Good luck!

Girls are a lot like guys. They will decide pretty soon after they meet you whether or not they would date you. Most likely for some reason you do not have the qualities she is looking for. Either that or she is not ready to date anyone or she is still trying to figure out if she would date you or not.

All you can really do at this point is be there and continue trying to flirt with her and show her that you like her. If she wants to, eventually she will come around to the idea.
