Are you asking if the insurance can kick off a bad driver? Or are you asking if you can have the insurance policy dropped on a person? For the first one, I think if they really wanted to, they could drop you. But my guess is the company would just charge the bad driver horrible rates... And for the second question yes, you defiently can have someone removed from the policy. (i guess it does depend on policy though)
yes ,you can add driver's name in your insurance policy.
Then insurance is going to go up dramatically anyway but its best to put them on your insurance. This is because the more people you have on a policy, the lower the price normally.
This Depends on the type of insurance policy. A standard Auto Insurance Policy will most likely pay for permissive use so long as the driver was not excluded from the owners policy, and was not committing a felony at the time of the accident. If the Owner has a Named Driver Policy ( AKA: Drivers Policy, Non - Owners or an Operaters Policy ) then it will likely NOT pay for the drivers accident as it only covers the driver named on the policy. It will probably pay, then promptly cancel. Getting insurance just became very expensive.
If they are not on your policy then they are not covered.
You can obtain insurance without a driver's license by adding a named driver to the policy who has a valid license. This person will be the primary driver on the policy, and you can be listed as an additional driver.
It really depends on what your insurance policy is.
It doesn't make sense to keep auto insurance without a car anyway! If you do get hurt in an accident where the other driver is at fault, their insurance will pay for the damages. However if you plan on driving someone else's car, make sure you are added on their car insurance policy as a secondary driver.
Usually the insurance policy of the owner of the car is primary and then if the driver of the car has a policy of their own then it is secondary.
If your driver's license expires will you still be covered under your auto insurance policy?
yes, simple as that.
To add a driver to your insurance policy, contact your insurance provider and provide the new driver's information, such as their name, date of birth, and driver's license number. Your insurance company will then assess the new driver's risk profile and adjust your policy accordingly. Be prepared to potentially pay an additional premium based on the new driver's driving history and other factors.
