Which factory but anyway most factories have assembly lines
Have the front hub bearings checked. Had a similar issue with a 2004 and it was the bearings which are not very good in this model anyway.
Anyway.
WHY DO YOU NEED TO KNOW THE ANSWER ANYWAY. LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE.LIKE GOOGLE
There are two bearings in an alternator. One (the large one) is a standard ball bearing arrangement. The other is pretty small and is a needle bearing type. Neither are really serviceable. You would have to disassemble the alternator to do it and by the time they need it the alternator is generally shot anyway. If you are hearing a squeal from that area it probably is not the alternator anyway. It is probably the belt tensioner next to the alternator and they cannot be repaired either.
Let them take the place; they were working on it anyway.
By "berrings" i assume you mean "bEArings". Anyway, its kinda like opening a bottle of beer. Take the wheel with the bearings off the trucks, and use the end of the hangar of the truck to prize out the bearing. Easy as pie!
I am assuming front , There is a very large screw on washer ( 2000 sportage ) that is dimpled into 2 grooves which you have to undimple to unscrew the nuts/washers. Be care full these nut/washers will break with too much hitting on them. Before you start find a parts store that has them in stock BEFORE you begin. Once you break one you are not going anywhere until you replace it . Anyway, after the washer/nut unscrews the hub slides off. There is more to this on the installation side ,like re-greasing bearings and setting the washer/nut tightness. Pay attention to what you are doing in dis-assembly .
I don't believe you can because the oil pan on vans are double sump pans and there wouldn't be anyway to get the pan out of the way because of the crossmember.
That's his head. And he needs his head. Well... it's instead of his head, anyway.
because it can be too cold anyway we could have a party instead
Hidden ScrewsI suspect that you have "missed" at least TWO screws. Normally, there are more than two screws [the ones you did remove] that hold a tail light assembly in place. The reason I suspect that there are at least two more screws is that IF there were only one, the assembly would "not budge" as you state, but instead would not come out but would be somewhat loose anyway.
