Usually junk food is refined and alot of the nutrients are stripped from those foods. Those foods should be eaten as treats or in moderation as they tend to lack the types or natural nutrients the body benefits from.Such as Vegetables, protein, wholegrains and fruits at the same time fruits should be your natural source of sugar they should also be eaten in moderation.
We have to understand that there is a difference between JUNK FOOD and FAST FOOD. Junk food is that, junk ! Fast food on the other hand is not always unhealthy but you will know the difference after you had it. Compare a burger to a nice healthy chicken salad. Remember though, any food that contains high amounts of Monosodium Glutamate (MSG), which is a flavour enhancer is recognized as a health hazard if taken in larger quantities. A quick guideline that can help you - it's always better to settle for grilled instead of fried. At the end of the day you have to decide what you want to consume - junk food without the junk or pure health food. Bon apatite !
Read the label for nutritional information . Most are high in sugar and fats and offer little vitamins, protein, minerals or fiber.
No. That's what it is called "junk food". There is a lot of salt, sugar, and calories. It is bad for you and gives no value to your diet.
Healthy food provides your body with nutrients that it needs to function and have energy. Junk food lacks nutrients that your body needs. That is why it is called 'junk'. Instead you may be getting food additives that may be tasty, but are of no benefit to you.
no no no because junk contains less than nutrients than a regular vegetable
Of course healthy food has more nutrients. Unrefined foods, such as vegetables, legumes, fruits, and whole grains, have fiber, vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients that are often missing from refined or "junk" foods like white flour, white sugar, and butter.
Junk food would. It's just empty calories with no actual nutrition.
It's because it doesn't really gives you nutrients that is needed in your body, and there has been a study showing that eating junk foods makes you dumber.
Yes. Too many calories and not enough nutrition. Your body will be hungry until it gets the nutrients it needs. If you eat lots of junk food, it actually robs your body of nutrients which are needed to process the junk foods. That is why after eating junk food you crave more. If one eats a healthy balanced diet, you don't crave excess food (unless you have a medical condition).
They are both food, and contain some form of nutrients, but very different ones at that. Beyond that, there really aren't many similarities at all.
I would not advise it--perhaps instead, give up all junk food!! The baby needs all the nutrients to grow. If he/she does not get them from food, he/she will take them from your body. If you have say, excess weight, give up the empty calorie food but since your baby is forming and nutrients like folic acid and who knows what else is needed at this critical time in your baby's growth and development, keep the nutrients and skip the junk.
Cause its not a junk food proper food is a proper food and junk food is a junk food:P
Heavily processed foods are junk food. If it comes in a bag or a box, its junk food. If it doesnt grow in the ground or on an animal, its junk food.
yep defo junk food
Because there's demand for junk food.
