In a 2002 Ford Explorer :
The 4.0 liter Single Over Head Cam ( SOHC ) V6 engine is a 6 cylinder engine
It is an Explorer.
The 2002 Ford Taurus has 40 in. of front head room.
it is the sensor in one of your doors the suv thinks the door is open and its letting you know spray wd 40 in the hole of the doors it will work for a while ford wants over $400 to fix them I also have a 2002 explorer and mine did the same thing and still does till I spray all the doors
The 2002 Ford Expedition Owner Guide shows to use ( 5W-20 )
53-70 in-lbs
The Owner Guide shows that 5 w 30 is the preferred oil ( that's what I've used in my 1995 Ford Explorer for almost 15 years )
According to my Haynes repair manual : ( 40 to 60 PSI at 2000 RPM with the engine warm ) On a 1996 Ford Explorer 4.0 liter V6 engine
For a 1995 Ford Explorer , 4.0 liter , EFI , V6 engine : With engine idling ( 30 PSI ) Key On / Engine Off ( 39 to 40 PSI )
10w-30 to 10w-40
Only for about 30-40 miles, and at 45MPH, not over.
You would find that info in a shop repair manual for that vehicle.
yes, 10-40 just a higher grade motor oil then 5-30 or 5-40 i run 15-40 in my Ford Explorer
