If your dog is a very good eater, and isn't right now, it would be a good idea to get him checked out. He could have swallowed something that's causing a blockage, or the intestines sometimes twist, which, untreated, will end in death! When animals STOP eating altogether, that is the sign of a real problem. Better get him to a vet-better safe................

∙ 15y agoIt may be getting sick. Take it to your vet. I could be many things. It's hard to know how much your dog should be eating with out knowing the size and breed of the dog. If it is maintaining weight it is likely getting plenty of calories. If it is loosing weight that would be a sign that something is not right; see above.
