If this is the stated policy of the merchant, then it must be done. Any stated policy is simply good customer relations. Legally, the store does not have to refund your money if the item goes on sale.

How long will It take to get a response I complained on mcdonalds website asking for a refund?

To be perfectly honest it be more successful in getting a refund you should go to McDonalds you bought the food from. The only reasons that at least I would be giving a refund is if there is a problem with the food/ product, you were given the wrong order, and you were disrespected by an crew member/ staff member. It is very important to receipt for your McDonalds food AND the product IN-HAND for a supervisor/ manager to even be concern be able to give you a refund. Under NO circumstances can a supervisor and/or manager give you a refund without a receipt/ proof of purchase and product in-hand, it is against McDonalds Corporate Policy. If the specific McDonalds you are trying to get a refund from is unwilling to give you a refund even if you have the product/ food and your receipt, I would strongly consider contacting the owner/ franchiser of that McDonalds. The owner/ franchiser have more direct say in what goes in their restaurant.

At what time does an insurance policy go into effect?

In most cases an insurance policy for a car goes into effect the moment the first payment is made. In the case of medical insurance there might be a waiting period based on the insurance company. Life insurance usually goes into effect after the first payment is made, but there might also be a waiting period before benefits will be issued.

Can a store give you less for a return if the item goes on sale?

Does life insurance cover suicide in Florida?

All individual life policies contain a "contestability clause." Should an individual die within the first two years of a policy, assuming all policy premiums have been paid on time, the ins. co. has the right to investigate prior to paying the claim. If a policy lapses-that is, goes out of force due to non-payment of premium, then the policy must be re-instated, and this two year period starts over again. Should a person commit suicide after this period, and while the policy is in force, the insurance company is obligated to pay the claim. However, if the insurance co. finds that the insured person had commited fraud when he/she applied fro the policy, they can refuse payment; in these cases, the co. will usually refund all paid premiums, plus a modest amt. of interest.
