Hi, there is a website called; replacement.com. There you'll find value info on china, crystal, and silver. If there is a # stamped on the item, that will make it easier on you, otherwise you'll have to go into the silver section, go to the "R" listing and scroll down until you find 1884 Rogers, click on, then you'll see a whole list of items, now if you know if its sterling, or silverplate this will help, pluse its hollowware instead of flaware, most of the items listed will state sterling or plated + hollowware. So if its eather or on the plating, scroll thru each item that you know it as and click on the item to view the items pattern. It may take awhile, there are alot of different patters. Once you find the matching pattern, in the same window scrolling down, they will list each item they have on hand and a replacement value price. If you don't see say the creamer, but find the sugar bowl, back on top of the page they have a reg pattern opition, you can click on that, fill in the info from the page pluse the item you couldn't find, and they will email you with the info once it becomes available to them. Good luck!
Please note that the above might provide what is termed a replacement value for insurance. What you might get for the set in a sale would be significantly less - in fact, when purchasing, Replacements pays between 10 to 20 cents on the dollar of what they charge.
$50.
Rogers Brothers is a silverware company that actually began in the 1820's but apparently used the actual Rogers Bros. name for the first time in 1847. Also, it seems that 1847 Rogers Bros silver plate or at least the trademark is still being manufactured or used today by the International Silver Company. In the late 1800's, Rogers Bros merged with or was purchased by the International Silver Company.
The Toronto Blue Jays are owned by Rogers Communications, one of Canada's largest communications companies, headquartered in Toronto, Ontario. Rogers owns 100 percent of the team and the Skydome, which they purchased in 2005 and renamed the 'Rogers Centre'.
Rogers Bros. became part of the Meriden Britannia company. The Meriden Britannia company absorbed dozens of other silverware makers in the area and expanded its operation overseas, after which it became known as the International Silver Company (IS). International Silver may have used the 1847 Rogers mark as early as 1852. The successor to the International Silver Company is still in business and uses the 1847 trademark to this day.
The IS on Wm Rogers Silverware stands for International Silver.
Rogers phones can be purchased directly from the Rogers online store. They can also be purchased from other Canadian stores such as Best Buy or Beyond. Online mega-retailers such as Amazon or eBay also offer Rogers phones.
