Just replaced the timing belt on a 1993 Geo Storm need help with troubleshooting car won't start?

Check that you got the timing marks right. If you recheck the timing belt work & it's o/k then start with the basics, Is the fuel pump running when you turn thekey? whats the fuel pressure? Is fuel getting to engine? do you have spark?

Well, if it ran smooth for the 20 seconds then timing has nothing to do with it. Sounds like a fuel shortage. Have the pump checked, and also the filter.

Check your timing, if it goes out of time a small margin it won't start properly or not at all.
