I had the same thing happen. It turns out that I couldn't use the door locks either, so I checked the fusebox. Fuse #13 was blown. Unfortunately for me, it's going to keep on blowing until I find the real problem.
Mine unlocks from the driver side electric lock. I just turn the key to unlock all doors and it does the trick.

unless you have the valet key the one key should unlock everything.. unless someone had your locks redone by a cheap locksmith or repair shop... there is a such thing as a valet key, which allows them to unlock your doors and start your car but will not unlock your glovebox or center console box.
