With your foot on the brake , try turning the steering wheel left and right. I know the steering wheel is locked but sometimes this will keep the key from turning. Just pull hard on the wheel hard left and right.

I don't know if you have that auxiliary position for the key in the ignition. That got me for a while until i figured out you can play the radio without having most of the car systems on.
