The starter contacts could be faulty, this causes the cars starter to click but no power is put to the starters electric motor to turn it, When this happens you usually hear a click from the starter when you turn the key into the start position. This problem should be examined by a Auto Electrician as intermediate to advanced skills may be required to confirm and repair fault. Contacts may only be available as complete solenoid (or starter) assembly

Q: Kia Sedona 2.9 Diesel.53 plate tried starting it in the mornings when cold and the ignition just clicks try several times and it starts this never happens when the engine is warm?
