3.3 l has no belt for timing .It has a chain. If serpentine belt is meant, then not more than 1 hour. It's a 20 minute job, if experienced, but most shops have a 1 hour minimum charge.

Where is the timing belt located on a 1998 Honda Accord?

Sorry but I must be blunt here. If you do not know where the timing belt is, then you have no business trying to replace it. This is an interference engine. Install the timing belt incorrectly on this engine and when you start it, you will have engine damage. Take it to a professional for the belt replacement. Also replace the water pump at the same time to save yourself labor costs down the road.

When should you change the timing belt on a 2001 Honda?

Change the timing belt at 105,000 miles or 10 years whichever comes first. Also replace the water pump at the same time as it is driven by the cam belt. This will save you the labor costs later on if you did not replace it. The life of the pump is about the same as the belt and it will fail before the next belt change, so just replace it now. Know, that this is an interference engine. Fail to replace the belt on time, it breaks, and you will have serious engine damage.
