Have a look at the Spinone Italiano (I've added a link). They're not very well known outside Italy but are getting more popular now in both the UK and USA.
They're one of the most loyal and affectionate dogs, easily trained, excellent with children and adore being one of the family. They are curly coated so don't shed much.
They do need some space to run though so if you live in an apartment and don't have access to a large open space, they're probably not the breed for you.
The standard poodle.
No, i have a cute peekapoo who is 14 and he doesnt shed.

Another good dog that does not shed that much is a maltipoo, its a combination between a Maltese and a poodle they are also a very good family pet .

Yes they are. They don't even shed as much as Longhairs and are easier to maintain.
Cats shed all year long. How much they shed is dependent on the cat - some shed very little overall and others shed a lot.
Well, it really depends on how much dead skin you have. Like, if you haven't showered in, maby, two or three weeks. Then, chances are, you have a pretty large amount of dead skin on your body, therefore, you will shed allothow much showering every day

Well they dont shed a huge amount because they are a small dog. They do shed though because they do have longer hair but they are a small breed.
