It's located above the fuse panel, below and to the left of the steering wheel. You'll need to remove the upper and lower dash trim around the steering wheel. In your service manual there should be a fuse and relay diagram, the one you're looking for is the "Flasher" unit. On my 99 Laredo it is at the very top of the unit (in a hard to reach space) third from the left. The relay is about twice the size of the other relays. Try jiggling it around before replacing, in my case it wasnt quite seated properly.

I believe it is located on the passenger side below the glove box right next to the fuse box should be the second flasher from the top where the first from the top is missing its grey on the 1996 model grand cherokee. I think

check and make sure all the lights are on like if a turn signal is out in the front then the signal will stay on in the back when you turn the turn signal on.

The turn signal flasher on the 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix is located near the steering column under the lower part of the dash. Look for a silver or black cylinder that is plugged into a receptacle much like that of a household outlet.
