Loud whining noise at start up on a 2007 Chevy trail blazer what could it be?

Type your answer here... If it goes away after 1 min or so, seems to last longer in the winter/cooler temps, the noise is the hydraulic/clutch fan. Situation normal, as soon as it warms up, it gets quiet to save fuel milage.
