CD changers are a common area of difficulty with the LS. You can't really service one yourself, probably, other than removal/replacement of the tape unit. Your remaining options are the usual three: 1) get a new or factory-rebuilt replacement from a dealer at ridiculous cost, 2) get one from a recycler at slightly less ridiculous cost (and take your chances), or 3) replace the audio with an aftermarket unit with an LS mounting kit. Wish there was a better answer, but I don't think there is.
Mine is in the trunk, its a 6 disc changer.
According to the 2001 Lincoln LS Owner Guide : The CD changer is located in the glove compartment
P0355 means Ignition Coil E Primary/secondary circuit malfunction. good luck

Most likely it a broken or malfunctioning clock spring in your steering column
LOL that happened with my 03 too. i was told i can have ford take it out & they can send it to tha factory & repair it or you can replace it for $600+ or do what i did & got a aftermarket touch screen CD player for $400 & it sounds even better!
