And so their relationship to an animal became the center often of their affections and respect, other than the "men of God" who had none, for themselves or for women or any real relationship of respect. Some women were educated and had studied the ancient information from the Egyptian times, of the little that survived the sam bunch of dishonest bigots' burning of the immense Library of Alexandria, and knew of the sacredness accorded to cats in those times. Also black cats in general , in my own experience, are very alive, intelligent and loving as a species, why the xtians were jealous of them, as their own religion forbade any tenderness or respectful loving or exchange in general, and certainly demonized any sensuality and its sacred lessons of Source's blessings and intelligence in our creation.
