He must have used the wrong code. You have to pull the stero get the serial # and cross it with the dealer to get the actual code for that radio. Then start over.
pull radio fuse, says back up... wait 10 mins.. replace... or disconnect battery for 10 mins, reconnect
I have a 92 Honda accord with anti theft radio that needs a code when battery is disconnected. My code is 34444 if you have tried several codes that did not work you might need to disconnect your battery and reconnect battery again then try the code.
disconnect the battery cables for 5 minutes then reconnect them. remember to reset the clock after doing this.
Remove the negative and then positive cables from the battery.
disconnect the battery and touch the battery cables together off the battery. Leave disconnected for a couple minutes and reconnect. If light stays on or comes back on the problem is what's called a hard failure and needs to be diagnosed ASAP!
You do not need to remove a fuse at all. To reset the ECU on Honda Accords, just disconnect the negative battery cable (or whatever cable is ground) and wait for 15 minutes, then reconnect.
how do i disconnect a car alarm wire that runs to the batter form a 1996 Honda accord ex
Disconnect the battery negative cable for 15 minutes.
If it's a factory installed alarm, you should be able to turn it off by: Disconnecting the battery. Next close all the doors on the car. With the doors closed, reconnect the battery. Go to the passenger door and use the key to first lock, and then unlock it. That's how I've gotten them to turn off in the past. If that doesn't work, disconnect the battery, put the key in the ignition and turn it to the "ON" position, and then reconnect the battery. Then close the doors, and then lock and unlock them from the passenger side with the key.
I really do not understand your question. Are you referring to radio codes, or are you referring to OBD codes? Please clarify.
Disconnect your battery. Reconnect it back. Close all the doors of your car. With the Key, Lock the door (either Driver or front passenger) and Unlock it/ Hold key for 5 seconds. That should shut off the alarm. I hope it helps..
The easiest way is to disconnect the battery for 15-30 minutes.
